7.7.4.2.1 PAX integration general information

Before you connect a PAX A910SF to Ritapos, you need two things: a GMP3 license and correct department (VAT) data in Ritapos. Both steps are the same as for Ingenico. The illustrated walkthrough of these shared steps is in 7.7.4.1.1 Ingenico integration general information. This lesson covers only what is different for PAX.

GMP3 license: short summary

You buy the license in iKasa. The cash register company charges the license fee. Log in with the device registration number and your mobile number, then open Virtual Market, go to Value Added Service and choose "GMP3 Service Fee". For the step by step guide, see 7.7.4.1.1.

Choosing the connection type for PAX

When you choose the integration type in the license step, these options apply to PAX:

  • Wired (payment at the counter): under "Connection type", choose TCP/ETH for an Ethernet cable or TCP/Wi-Fi for your wireless network. In the box below, choose "Ritapos".
  • Wireless (payment at the table or door): choose "Ritapos Proxy". In the form that opens, enter "ritapos" as the username and "ritapos" as the password, then press "Save".

The TCP/Wi-Fi option lets the PAX device work like a wired device without a cable. Wired and Wi-Fi setup steps are in 7.7.4.2.2.

The iResto app

The next integration steps need the iResto app on your PAX device. You install iResto from the LUNA program on the PAX screen. Think of LUNA as the PAX app store. Installation steps are in 7.7.4.2.3.

If iResto still does not appear on your device after 24 hours, call the cash register company support line (0850 250 40 30).

Department and VAT data: short summary

When the integration runs, the department data in Ritapos replaces the data on your PAX device. First find the section (VAT) data on your device. Then in Ritapos open Ayarlar > Ödeme ayarları > Departmanlar (Settings > Payment settings > Departments) from the left menu and enter the same data. Example rates and screenshots are in 7.7.4.1.1.

If you have already made sales with PAX, you will be asked to take a Z report when you change department data. When the prompt appears, press "Enter".
WARNING:
The legal VAT rate of each section must be correct both in the department data and in the product data in Ritapos. A wrong rate prints incorrect receipts and causes a legal irregularity in your VAT.
