7.2. Business Settings

To customize Ritapos for your business, use the gear icon in the upper-right corner to open the business settings.

Business Information

This page is where you enter basic information such as the business name and logo. Your business name and logo are used on bills and in the QR Menu.

One of the most important fields on this page is "Business short name." Business owners' user accounts are created with their email addresses, while employee usernames are created by adding the business short name at the end. In other words, the value you set here is added to the end of each employee's username in the format @businessshortname.

For an employee named Irem, the username in the account's login details will be "irem@businessshortname." You can also change this short name.

This page lets you configure settings such as the service charge, discount limit, and employee permissions for your business.

Employee Permissions

Use this page to restrict actions employees can take, such as changing product prices and applying discounts.

Your business may use different product lists during different periods. You can define them on this page and choose which product list is used in the business from the Preferences page.

Time and Location Settings

You can set your business's time zone, address, and similar details on this page.

Payment Methods

You can define the default payment method and different payment channels, such as payment cards, in Ritapos from this page.

You can configure security measures here, including the password for the lock screen. By entering your business's IP address, you can prevent users from accessing Ritapos outside the business. Users with business partner permissions or higher can continue to use the system without being affected by the IP restriction.

Because IP addresses are dynamic, you need to purchase a static IP address from your internet service provider to apply the restriction correctly.

You can enter your YouTube or Spotify playlist in the system and play it from within the application.

To add a playlist to the music box:

First open the playlist in YouTube and select "Share." Then select "Embed."

In the code shown, select and copy the playlist URL up to the question mark.

Then enter the same address in Ritapos.

For Spotify:

Select the "..." button in the playlist.

Select "Embed playlist" from the menu that opens.

In the window that opens, select "Show code." Select and copy the playlist URL from the code up to the question mark, then enter the same address in Ritapos.

Setup Wizard

You can reopen the setup wizard, which appears after registration and helps you set up your business, at any time from here.

You can easily delete data that your business uses or no longer needs from this page.
