Privacy policy of Ritapos OÜ: how we collect, use, store, and delete personal data.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy sets the terms for how Ritapos ("Ritapos") uses information and data that you share when you register on https://ritapos.com (the "Site") and use the Platform. It is an annex to the User Agreement, and an integral part of it.
Content you upload to the Site is your responsibility. Ritapos may anonymise that Content and use it without prior approval.
Confidentiality
Ritapos will not disclose Content sent to it electronically through the Site to third parties, except for the purposes and scope set in the User Agreement. Ritapos undertakes to keep that Content strictly private and confidential, to treat confidentiality as an obligation, and to take the measures needed to prevent unauthorised use or public disclosure.
When you give consent
If you give consent to Ritapos, Content may be processed, stored, and transferred to third parties by Ritapos and its partners, within that consent, for purposes such as payment transactions, invoicing, bank integration, third-party applications you allow access to, and direct marketing.
Ritapos may disclose Content to other users when that is needed to provide a service you requested, such as sending invoices or sharing payment information. If you want to use another user's Content, you must obtain that user's approval and use the Content only within that approval.
How personal information is used
Personal information may be used to contact you or to improve your experience on the Site. That includes maintenance and support, improving existing services, creating new services, and providing personalised services. It may also be processed, stored, and transferred to third parties as needed to build databases, maintain memberships, and deliver Ritapos services to you.
Ritapos may anonymise your usage and transaction information on the Site, then keep, process, and share it with business partners for as long as needed for statistical evaluations, performance evaluations, marketing and donation campaigns of Ritapos and its partners, and annual or similar reports.
If you respond to surveys on the Site and consent to the processing of your personal information, Ritapos may use the information you provide for direct marketing, statistical analysis, and database creation.
Technical data and international transfers
Ritapos may share your information with third parties when that is needed to identify and resolve technical problems related to the system. In those cases it may detect and use IP addresses. IP addresses may also be used to identify users in a general way and to collect demographic information.
Ritapos may transfer data related to the purposes above to servers located anywhere in the world, including outside your country of residence. Those servers may belong to Ritapos, its affiliates, or its subcontractors.
Other sites and updates
The Site may link to other sites and applications. Ritapos is not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
Ritapos may change this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing the updated version on the Site. Changes take effect on the date they are published.
Delete Associated Data
You can delete data associated with your Ritapos account from Store Settings. The steps below remove associated data. They do not close your main account.
- Sign in to Ritapos with your credentials.
- Open Store Settings. On desktop this is typically in the top right of the application. On a mobile device it may sit lower on the page.
- Find the control for erasing data. On desktop it is usually on the right side of the page. On mobile it may be at the bottom.
- Open the dialog, review the options, and select the data you want removed. This can include personal information, order history, preferences, and other records tied to the account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action cannot be undone, and deleted data cannot be recovered.
After the deletion finishes, clear your browser cache and cookies so leftover account data is not kept on your device.
These steps do not delete your main account. To close the account itself, email [email protected].
