6.5. Order Actions

The middle of the order screen has buttons for the order: Kişi (guests), Masa (table), Müşteri (customer), Etiket (label), Not (note), Kampanyalar (campaigns), İndirim (discount), Bahşiş (tip) and İşlemler (actions). Frequent tasks are quick with these buttons. All order actions are collected in the panel that opens with İşlemler.

The İşlemler panel has these sections: Ürün (item), Masa (table), Sipariş detayları (order details), Fiyatlandırma (pricing), Ödeme (payment), Kampanyalar (campaigns), Araçlar (tools), Yazdır (print) and Yönetim (management). Yönetim has Tarihi değiştir (change date), İşlem kayıtları (activity log), Zayi (waste) and İptal (cancel). İptal opens a dialog with the options to delete (Sil) or cancel (İptal) the order. Giving an order discount

An order discount applies to the order total.

1. Press İndirim in the middle of the order screen.
2. Make sure Sipariş (order) is selected in the Uygula (apply to) field.
3. Write the reason in İndirim notu (discount note). You can also pick a ready note from the Not list.
4. Choose the discount. Press one of the ready amount or percentage buttons, or type the value in the İndirim field. For a percentage write 5%, for an amount write 5.50.
5. To round the total, use the Yuvarlamak için tıklayın (click to round) link.
6. Press Uygula (apply). The message "Siparişe indirim uygulandı." (discount applied to the order) appears.

After the discount is applied, the dialog shows Ara toplam (subtotal), the applied İndirim, Toplam indirim (total discount) and the order total. To remove a discount, press the trash icon on its row. The Ara toplam (subtotal), İndirim (discount) and Toplam (total) rows also appear under the order contents.

Discount limit and discount note

• Employee discount limits are set in the İndirim (discount) section of Ayarlar > Çalışan ayarları > Çalışan limitleri (settings, employee settings, employee limits). Enter an amount in Çalışanların indirim limiti (employee discount limit) and choose a percentage from Çalışanların yüzdesel indirim limiti (employee percentage discount limit).
• By default, the İndirim button is visible to the Kasiyer (cashier), Employee (Çalışan, Şef), İşletme yöneticisi (business manager) and İşletme yetkilisi (business authority) roles. Other users can be given this permission individually.
• İşletme yöneticisi and İşletme yetkilisi have no limit. The limit applies to Kasiyer and Çalışan (Şef).
• A discount above the limit is not applied. Ready buttons above the limit are not shown to employees.
• Whether a note is required depends on the settings and on permissions. If the Çalışanların indirim notu girmesi zorunludur (employees must enter a discount note) box in the same section is checked, employees need to write a discount note. A user with the İşletme yetkilisi role does not have to enter a note.

If the customer attached to the order has a discount defined, it is applied automatically. A discount you give is applied together with the customer discount. Customer discounts are covered in 9.1. Adding a Customer.

Giving a discount on a single item

To discount only one item, you change the line price.

1. In the order contents, press ⋮ on the item's line. A menu titled "<quantity> x <item>" opens.
2. Press Fiyat (price).
3. Choose one of the percentage buttons (from %5 to %50). Or type a new unit price in the price field and press Kaydet.

For example, choosing %10 on a line of 2 Lattes at 110,00₺ turns the line into 2 × 99,00₺ (sample data).

Keep these points in mind with line discounts:

• A discount made with a percentage button replaces any note already on the line. If the kitchen needs a note, write it again after the discount.
• Line discounts do not appear in reports as discounts, only as a lower sales amount. If you want to track discounts in reports, use order discounts (6.12).
• If an order has both a line discount and an order discount, the line discount is applied first. The order discount is calculated on the reduced line price.
