4.2. Adding and Editing Products
To add a product, open Products in the menu and press + in the heading to open the product form.
Select a product group first. If the group is missing, use Add New Product Group beside the group selector.
After the group, enter the product name and prices.
- Cost (purchase price) can later come from recipes; enter your own figure if you do not use recipes.
- Sale price (Normal) is required and is used on the menu and on orders.
- Sale price (Special) is for happy hour and similar windows; when empty, Normal price applies.
In Details on the form, fill description, allergen warnings, tax, and related fields.
Description is guest-facing copy about the item; it appears in the QR Menu.
If Frequently ordered product? is Yes, the item is pinned toward the front of the new order screen.
Allergens can show to staff and in the QR Menu. Hold CTRL to select more than one.
Tax rate reflects fiscal rules for registered payment devices.
Barcode lets you scan to find a product while adding an order when the search field is focused.
Screen/Printer on the group applies to all products in that group. Change it on the form when this product needs a different printer or screen.
Variants and Add-ons on the form are covered in later lessons.
Saved products appear in the product list table. You can read group, name, price, and actions columns, or change price inline and save with the save icon.
Use Edit on a row for full details. Use the three-dot menu and Delete to remove a product.
You may see A (allergen), V (variant), and F (franchise) at the end of a row.
Table columns depend on your permission level. If you are a franchise location and do not see +, Edit, or Delete, contact your head office.
Show menu
The Show control at the top right of the product list is not only for columns. The same menu opens specialized product lists and forms. On-screen labels follow your language (Turkish UI may differ).

If Paraşüt or Zirve integration is on, related rows may also appear in Show.
Quick path to the QR Menu form
You do not need the full product form to edit QR Menu fields. On Show → QR Menu, row Edit opens the focused QR Menu form (/product/list/form-qr-menu/…).
That form includes description, allergens, chef’s choice, prep time, calories, image, translation, and visibility. On the full product form (/product/list/form/…) the same topics sit under the QR menu accordion, next to Details, Advance, Translation, and Visibility.
Enrich the product list with AI
You can fill QR Menu fields such as description, allergens, prep time, calories, translation, and product image with Ritapos AI. There are two paths.
Bulk enrich from the list
On the product list, open Actions and choose Enrich with Ritapos Ai (Turkish UI may show a localized label). In the dialog, pick a category and which fields to generate: description, allergens, preparation time in minutes, product calorie, translation, image. Optionally use the store logo on the image or overwrite existing fields. The job runs in the background.
Field AI on the product form
On the product or QR Menu form, the Ai control next to a field opens Generate QR menu fields with AI. Review the preview and apply the selected fields. The same field set applies.
