4.3. Defining Variants and Add-on Groups

Adding a Variant Product and Assigning It to Related Products

We call options with different sizes or forms and the same or different prices for a product, such as large or double, variant products. Before adding a variant to a product, we first added a variant group. We explained this in the "Product Groups" lesson, but we will start from this point again in this training video.

Defining an Add-on Group

Whether they have variants or not… You can add the items you serve alongside any product as add-ons. For example, you can use this feature if an "Adana Wrap Menu" includes salad, fries, or dessert based on the customer's preference, with ayran included for free and cola available for an additional charge. The add-on definition form is shown below.

You can later assign add-on definitions to any products you want from the product definition form.

Assigning an Add-on Group to a Product for Sale

To use an add-on group, edit a product for sale and assign the add-on group to it.
