Weekly Manager Checklist
Complete this form once a week at the quietest time in the venue. For many businesses, Monday before lunch works well. This list does not replace the daily opening and closing forms. It adds a separate management-level review above them.
Discount and happy hour settings can remain active for weeks. A QR menu price can drift away from the dining room price. A marketplace mapping can point to the wrong product. These issues do not appear on the daily sheets, but they do appear during the weekly round. Several weeks of completed forms provide a useful reference for the month-end report meeting.
At a single location, the owner can make this round. With several locations, head office may request a photograph, but each branch should still complete its own sheet. A no response that head office never sees will not be resolved. Discounts, QR prices, and stock variances live on three separate screens. Opening all three during the same review prepares the weekly meeting. Fixing the round on Monday keeps it out of the Friday rush.
How to use this form
- The business manager or owner should complete the list. Do not delegate this review to the cashier, because cashiers cannot independently review their own activity logs.
- Read unusual voids, complimentary items, and discounts one by one in the activity log. For every no response, write in the notes what will be done that week.
- Match stock count variances against waste forms and invoice entries. An unexplained variance also weakens the following week's count.
- Compare QR menu prices with dining room prices and marketplace mappings with the products prepared in the kitchen. Resolve every mismatch that week.
- Check whether happy hour and discount settings are still valid. Leaving an expired campaign active distributes discounts without anyone noticing.
- Sign and file the form. You can send a photograph to head office or take the folder to the weekly meeting.
How this maps to Ritapos
Activity logs, stock counts, QR menus, and marketplace product mappings are already available in Ritapos. This form makes sure those screens are reviewed at least once a week. Pay particular attention to whether discount and happy hour settings are still valid.
Daily forms catch the current state of cold storage and printers. The weekly list is where reports, prices, and channel settings are reviewed together. Do not assign both rounds to the same role. The shift team makes the daily round, while a manager makes the weekly one. The food cost and menu pricing guides help explain any variance found during this review.
This form is an educational checklist. It does not change your local authority, food registration, or occupational health and safety obligations. Confirm local requirements in writing.
