8.10. Attendance Tracking with the HR Module

Attendance is the record of employees' clock-in and clock-out times. In Ritapos it is kept with the attendance QR terminal, manual records or records the employee enters. The screens are on the Attendance and payroll card in the HR cockpit.

Attendance records

The Attendance records list shows the employee, date, scanned clock-in and clock-out, payroll clock-in and clock-out, Within opening hours, total minutes, Overtime minutes, Source, Status, Approval and Note. Use Payroll history and Edit in the row to check or correct a record.

Clocking in and out with the QR terminal

You can make a computer at the entrance the attendance terminal. In the Attendance QR terminal card on Attendance records, click Register this computer as attendance terminal. The terminal shows a QR code that refreshes itself. A business has one registered terminal; if you register another computer, the previous terminal is disabled. If the terminal page opens on a computer that is not registered, it shows This computer is not registered as an attendance terminal.

The employee scans the current code on the terminal with their phone, signs in with their own user and taps Clock in or Clock out. The record appears in Attendance records.
