2.4. User List and Adding a New User
With Ritapos, you can create users with different permission levels for employees such as kitchen staff, couriers, and waitstaff. This topic is examined in detail in the "User Management" lesson. Here, we introduce it briefly so you can see that business owner and employee accounts have different permission levels.
Use the Users button in the menu to open the user list and the window for adding a new user.

The permission level, actions, and delete buttons may draw your attention in this user list. These buttons let us perform certain actions, but because that is the subject of the next lesson, we will skip them for now.
To add a new user, press the "+" button in the heading to open the relevant form.
The new user form asks for the basic information your employee needs to sign in to the system and appears as shown below.

Pay attention to two fields in this form.
1. Employee accounts do not sign in with an email address.
The first field to note is the employee username. While the business owner signs in with an email address such as [email protected], employees sign in with a username structured as employee_name@business_short_name.
2. Different permission levels
When creating a new user, assign the user's permissions correctly, such as "business owner, partner, manager, employee, courier, etc."
