13.3. Taking Reservations from the QR Menu

Guests can send a reservation request from the QR menu. Requests land in Reservation requests first. When you accept or reject, you tell the guest by phone or WhatsApp. Ritapos does not message the guest automatically.

13.3.1. QR menu settings

Open Settings > Table settings > Reservation settings.

  • Check Accept reservations from QR menu.
  • In Valet details, write the text guests see on the reservation form.
  • Under Reservation request options, add or remove choices such as High chair, Wheelchair, Birthday and Pet. Guests can tick them when requesting.
  • Press Save.

The same setting appears under Advanced on QR > QR menu. The cog button next to the checkbox opens Reservation settings.

The guest opens the Reservation request form from Reservation. They fill Date, Hour, Name Surname, Phone, Number of adults, Requests and Note, then press Send reservation request. The guest QR reservation flow stays in Turkish even when your Ritapos UI is English. After sending, a Tamamlandı dialog appears with the thank-you line and a Tamam button.

The success text on the guest screen may promise a reply, but you should still tell the guest the outcome by phone or WhatsApp. See 13.4. Contacting Customers Who Made a Reservation.

13.3.2. Approving pending reservations

Open Reservations > Reservation requests. Use the All, Accepted, Rejected and Pending filters. The page opens with Pending selected; use the filters at the top for other statuses.

A pending row has a phone icon (Call), a WhatsApp icon and Accept, Reject and Edit.

Accept opens a dialog titled Accept with a Table dropdown (starts at Select; entries look like Salon - SA01 (4)) and an optional Note field. Confirm with Accept or Cancel.

The list shows only tables available that day. If no table is available that day, a No available tables warning appears.
