I Connected a New Printer to My Computer, but It Does Not Work. What Can I Do?

Connecting a printer to your computer with a cable is not enough for it to work. The driver developed by the printer manufacturer for your operating system, such as Windows 7 or 11, must also be installed correctly. During installation, you select a connection type such as USB or Ethernet and complete the setup for that connection.

The installation steps vary by connection type. If you change the connection type or the USB port, you need to reinstall the driver.

You can find drivers for commonly used printers at https://files.ritapos.com/.
