How Do I Take a Split Payment with the Ingenico Wireless Integration?

Taking a split payment through the wireless Ingenico integration, also known as the Ritapos integration, is one of the most frequently asked questions about an operation that is not immediately visible. When you continue taking payment through the Restaurant application on the Ingenico device, the screen shown below appears.

The field showing "Amount 4.00 TL" can be changed using the keypad. If you enter a lower amount and press "Payment," that amount will be collected. The payment step then continues for the remaining balance.

When a payment is started on Ingenico, the full order balance must be collected and the order must be closed.

There is no problem using split payment through Ingenico if the order will be fully closed after the payments are collected. However, if the remaining balance will be collected later, first use the split order feature in Ritapos to separate the part of the order covered by the immediate payment, then take that payment through Ingenico.
