10.1. Identifying the Caller
With Ritapos, you can easily identify people calling your landline or mobile line and quickly take orders and reservations.
10.1.1. Identifying Landline Callers
To identify callers when your phone rings, you must configure the caller ID device connected between your phone and computer. The company that supplied your caller ID device can assist you with this.
For example, you can follow the steps below to integrate your landline with Ritapos using CID600 or CID800 series devices.
- First, connect your cables as shown above.
- Then download and install the "CID Setup" application.
- Next, download and install the "CID Web" application (Call).
- Finally, press the settings button in the "CID Web" application and replace the URL in the text document that opens with https://app.ritapos.com/order/phone/.
After these steps are complete, the Ritapos customer form page will open automatically whenever your landline receives a call.
About the Call Application
Unlike conventional applications, the Call application runs in hidden mode and appears next to the clock as soon as you open it.
To access the application, click the blue phone icon next to the clock. To leave the application running in the background again:
10.1.2. Identifying Mobile Callers
Mobile caller identification works only on phones running the Android operating system. iOS devices do not support this feature.
- Download the "Ritapos Caller ID application to your Android phone.
- Enter your business-specific GUID in the field under Settings.
- While the application is open on your phone, incoming caller information will be sent automatically to Ritapos.
You do not need to do anything else.
